The Art of Neighboring: Serving and Sacrificing

Mark 10:45:

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Philippians 2:3-4:

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the

interests of the others.”

These aren’t abstract ideas, but actions that reflect Jesus’ life and character. In a world that often values bragging, boasting, power, and personal gain, Jesus calls us to a radically different way of living in small and big ways.
