The bigger ask: to get 100% participation in community service projects in the church and community one to two months after the collections.

Based in Racine, WI, Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin (VOW) works to make a difference in the lives of at-risk Veteran households in every community across Wisconsin. The program expanded in 2017 to include a village of 15 tiny homes, a food market, and trauma-informed programming. We are looking to expand our services in Racine and serve Veteran households in Milwaukee.

Mount Horeb Agro-Industrial Production Project:

Pastor Ramon travels to the mountainous villages near Comayagua twice per month spreading the Good news of Jesus Christ to make Disciples. One of the biggest problems in Honduras is the lack of employment and economic opportunities. Most people who have jobs do not earn enough to cover their basic needs. Not only must they deal with the effects of poverty, but also of gang violence in their communities. Those most affected live in marginal areas, whether on the fringes of large cities, towns, or villages. As a result, we have entire communities of abandoned elderly people, orphaned children, and their single mothers who have no way to get ahead.

Through the chicken farm project we intend to contribute to the community either by providing seed capital or by bringing development, creating local employment opportunities, and participating in education programs on agriculture and food, generating independence and autonomy to manage their own business. Likewise, we want to bring not only social development but also a comprehensive transformation in spiritual matters

Support for Children in crisis. Faith Hope & Love’s goal is to build Faith Hope & Love in the lives of children in crisis through Duffels for Kids, BlastPacks and Birthday Closet programs across Wisconsin, in effort to reach as many children in crisis situations as possible.

Assistant Regional Director of Training

Rick Goetsch – Huron Hills Church

Rick creates and delivers core training to students and staff across the region, and oversees regional specialists advancing IV’s work in missions, justice, prayer and athletes.

Our mission is to draw ALL PEOPLE into a close and living relationship with Jesus Christ. We see this happening in worship gatherings, in group ministries across all ages, from adults, college students, youth (middle school and high school), to children. Our ministries serve people here in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, SE Michigan, and all around the world.

At Infinitely More Life through our Mercy’s Light Family project, we rescue girls in Kenya who have been left abandoned, alone and afraid on the streets after sexual trauma ending in pregnancy. To help with this need, we built a pregnancy crisis center/maternity home in the coastal area of Kenya. This center currently houses twelve young moms and babies. Several of our young moms have already moved to the next level of our program which is the transition house.

Girls come into our family/program and are shown love and compassion during a time in their lives that their own family and society have completely rejected them. We love and counsel them back to emotional health, prepare them for childbirth, take care of all their physical needs and then train them in business and vocational skills.

After three years in our family, they can start their life self-supporting themselves and their babies in a country where the unemployment rate is around 70%.

Our church family member, Bob Wright, moved to Missouri to study Ministerial Leadership & Worship Ministry at International House of Prayer University. Now together with his family he is following God’s Lead as a mobile domestic missionary.

Community Church Missions Ministry has an opportunity for you!  Beginning October 7, we will be reaching out to our local community with hands on service with this opportunity being held each month.  Community Church will be missionaries serving in our local area.

What is Serve Saturday?

Serve Saturday is an opportunity for our church members to be directly involved in Missions Ministry by being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus in our local community.

When is Serve Saturday?

Serve Saturday will be held the first Saturday of each month beginning in October, from 9 AM – 12 PM, following Men’s Breakfast.

How will people in the community recognize us as being there to help?

T-shirts!  We will have T-shirts made with a logo that represents this part of our Missions Ministry.  Each person participating will be asked to purchase the shirt for $10 and it can be worn to all future days that they participate in Serve Saturday.

What will Serve Saturday projects look like?

Projects will be identified by the Missions Ministry and may include opportunities like:

  • Helping seniors in our community with home maintenance, cleaning or other needs
  • Assisting one of our mission partners with needs they may have at their location
  • Assisting a veteran with needs they may have in their home

These are just examples of how we anticipate spreading the love of Jesus in our community!
